Heat Advisory

A steady southerly wind will continue to push hot and humid air into Mid-Missouri Sunday afternoon. This will cause temperatures to continue warming Sunday and Monday which has prompted a heat advisory for western Missouri. The advisory will go into effect Sunday at 11:00am and last through 7pm Monday evening.

High temperatures Sunday afternoon will reach into the low 90s, but the humidity will make it feel closer to 100. The heat will increase again Monday with high temperatures in the mid 90s and heat indices anywhere from 100-105.
