Another round of rain, possible flooding

Another wave of low pressure is moving northeast and will track over Missouri Wednesday. Occasional rain Tuesday night will become more widespread and steady as we head into the morning hours Wednesday with pockets of moderate to heavy rain through early afternoon. As the low tracks to the east, rain will end from west to east through early evening Wednesday, leaving us with quiet overnight weather.

Rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches are expected over a large area of Mid-Missouri with highest totals through 7pm Wednesday south of I-70. Runoff from excessive rainfall could lead to flash flooding. A Flash Flood Watch continues for all of Mid-Missouri until 7pm Wednesday.
