Tracking storms to kick off the weekend

TODAY: Storms will be moving through counties north of I-70 this morning and these clear out just before noon. Another round is possible along a boundary just north of I-70 starting in the mid-afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-80s for counties north of the boundary, but areas near the Lake could reach the low 90s. These storms will move south into the evening, bringing a small threat for damaging winds and hail. Rain fizzles out just before midnight and lows dip to the mid-60s.

TOMORROW: Clouds will clear quickly and Sunday will feel much better as moisture exits and highs fall to the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: The workweek is full of sun as high pressure sets up over mid-MO. This will slowly move east during the week, keeping northwesterly flow across the area. Highs will sit in the mid-80s each day, but if high pressure moves out a bit quicker, we could see a faster warmup.
