Mexico Police investigating Tuesday shooting

The Mexico Department of Public Safety is investigating a Tuesday night shooting on Breckenridge Street.

Officers were called to the area of Union and West Breckenridge streets just after 6:45 Tuesday night after shots were fired at a vehicle with people inside.

The owner and passengers in the car told police their car was shot at while they were driving on Breckenridge, and the vehicle appeared to have been struck by bullets.

The victims told police they didn’t see who fired the shots or where they came from.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the shooting.
