Police investigate shooting by Clark Lane in Columbia

Police are investigating reports of gunfire Monday afternoon off Clark Lane by the connector in Columbia.

A caller reported hearing about three shots exchanged between two cars in the parking lot of Taco Bell just after 4:30 p.m.

Both vehicles apparently left the scene after the shooting.

Shortly before 5 p.m., police were searching the parking lot of Taco Bell and talking to people near Pizza Hut.

So far, there have been no injuries reported from the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
