Daughter found; person in custody for her mother’s death

Investigators confirm the daughter of a missing woman has been found safe, and one person of interest is now in custody for her mother’s death.

On Monday the Greene County sheriff’s department said Gypsy Blancharde was discovered with a man inside a home near Big Bend, Wis., outside Milwaukee.

On Sunday, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office issued an endangered person advisory for 19-year-old Gypsy R. Blancharde and her mother, 48-year-old Clauddinnea A. Blancharde.

Authorities say Clauddinnea was found dead in her home, and they suspect possible foul play. Greene County Sheriff Arnott described Clauddinnea’s death as “violent”. Her autopsy was set for 12:30 p.m. Monday. Detectives are also on their way to Waukesha Co., Wis., to speak with Gypsy and the person of interest.

Gypsy has medical issues and might require a wheelchair. Neighbors reported they had not seen the women since Wednesday, June 10.
