Work underway at former Columbia motel
A Columbia motel with a troubled past is now getting a new look.
Renovations are underway at Providence Inn and Suites near I-70.
Monday, ABC 17 News talked to the owner, who said he started the work last September.
He thinks all of the renovations would be complete in a few weeks.
The motel closed more than a year ago, after a local teen was found dead there following an apparent drug overdose.
