Death investigation underway in Cole County
The Cole County Sheriff’s Department Monday is investigating a death in rural Cole County.
A white woman was found dead in a home near Henley on Saturday afternoon.
Not all of the woman’s relatives have been notified, so her name, age, and address have not been released.
An autopsy was completed by the Boone County Medical Examiner Monday, and toxicology results are pending.
Cole County Sheriff Greg White told ABC 17 News said anytime there is an “unattended death,” the department conducts a death investigation.
