Creative Services Producer

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Creative Services Producer serves as a project manager and will be involved in everything from station branding, to program promotion, commercial production, public service and video production and editing. The employee will be expected to conceive, write, shoot and edit production for local businesses to raise awareness of products, services and important issues within the community with the production of local commercials, promotion product for ABC 17 News, syndicated programming for ABC 17, FOX 22, MyZouTV & Me-TV.

SKILLS: The right candidate must be a superb creative writer with the ability to develop creative ideas for promotion and marketing and be able to execute those ideas from conception through final product. The employee must be able to work individually and as a member of a team. A basic background in all aspects of video production, non-linear editing and graphic creation is preferred. The ability to grow and improve is a must.

HOURS/SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Some flexibility to work extra hours, nights and weekends on occasion is required.

EDUCATION: A college degree in, communication, marketing, graphic design or video production is preferred. Applicable professional experience is a plus.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The position will require the transport and operation of heavy production equipment. Employees must be able to handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The position will also require operation of a company motor vehicle or personal vehicle on occasion. Candidate must pass a drug test, background check, and MVR check.
