Columbia man caught with numerous drugs in car

A Columbia man is out of jail Wednesday after police caught him with drugs while in the driver’s seat of his car.

Officers found Daniel Butner behind the wheel of a parked car that was still running outside a hotel near the Highway 63/I-70 connector.

Officials said they eventually recovered mushrooms, marijuana, and meth crystals.
