Downtown Shakespeare’s Pizza closes in Columbia
The Shakespeare’s Pizza in downtown has officially closed its doors for the last time.
All three restaurants in Columbia closed over the Memorial Day weekend, and only two of them reopened.
On Tuesday, the manager told us they’re trying to start running out of the temporary location by this Friday.
Its one block away in the same building that used to hold the the Tin Can, BBC 2, or before that Los Bandidos.
The restaurant is planning to move back to their old corner by August of next year.
They’re guaranteed a spot in the new multi-level structure for the next 50 years.
