Man robs Jefferson City store with butcher knife

A man is on the run after robbing a Jefferson City store at knife point.

Jefferson City police responded to the Bee Line Snack Shop on Missouri Boulevard around 10:45 Saturday night.

Employees at the store told police a man came inside with a large butcher knife and demanded money from the cash register. The man took an unknown amount of money from the clerk and ran away. No one was hurt.

Police searched the area, but did not find the man.

The suspect is described as a black man, about 5’10”, medium build and in his 20s. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black mask and gloves.
