Severe storms possible Sunday
Severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon into the evening across Mid-Missouri, with areas along and south of I-70 in a slight risk for storms from the Storm Prediction Center.
Leftover small-scale boundaries and a northward lifting warm front will provide lift for storms developing through the afternoon.
A Tornado Watch is in effect until 8:00 PM for all of Mid-Missouri.
Some of these storms could bring damaging winds and isolated tornadoes, along with the risk of flash flooding through the overnight hours into Monday.
Much of Mid-Missouri could receive between 1″ to 1.5″ of rain by Monday morning, with higher amounts southwest near the Lake of the Ozarks.
