Second arrest made in Forest Avenue shooting

On Friday , Columbia police made a second arrest in the shooting near Forest Avenue.

Police stopped Montez D. Quinn, 25 from Columbia, in the 1000 block of Smiley Lane.

Quinn had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and was a suspect in the shooting on East Forest Avenue.

Detectives also found a small bag of marijuana. Quinn was arrested on the warrant, possession of a controlled substances, three first-degree assaults, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
