Rain Likely Sunday, Drier Monday

Showers & t-storms will increase Saturday night from west to east through Sunday morning. The best chance of rain early Sunday will be west of HWY 63. Showers are expected to decrease with some dry weather for the middle of the day Sunday. Scattered storms are possible again Sunday afternoon and evening.

There is a marginal severe threat for all of Mid-Missouri Sunday afternoon and evening for the possibility of isolated severe storms with damaging wind and large hail. Heading overnight, showers and t-storms are forecast to increase in western Missouri and move east, ending by early morning Monday. These have the potential of producing heavy rain with 1-3 inches of rain possible west of HWY 63 through Monday morning. A Flash Flood Watch continues through early Monday west of HWY 63 due to the potential of heavy rain.

After a chance of morning showers Monday, the rest of the day looks dry and warm with highs in the lower 80s. Shower and t-storm chances move back in Monday night and Tuesday.
