Police investigate central Columbia shooting
Columbia police have located shell casings in a central city shooting.
911 dispatch started receiving multiple calls around 2:00 a.m. Friday, about shots fired in the area of Fairview Avenue and 8th Street.
On scene investigators located several shell casings while they closed off streets looking for evidence.
ABC 17 News has not heard about any injuries or arrests.
Hours earlier officers were investigating a different shooting in north Columbia by Sylvan and Whitegate, near Paris and the Business Loop.
