MoDOT issues travel warning for I-70 westbound at Highway 65 this weekend
MoDOT has issued a travel warning for drivers heading west on I-70 between Kansas City and Columbia this weekend.
MoDOT crews are continuing with bridge deck replacement work on I-70 at the Blackwater River bridge in Saline County.
Westbound traffic is down to one lane in that area, and on weekends, drivers have been experiencing an hour delay in this work zone near mile marker 77.
Drivers heading to Kansas City for the Cardinals/Royals game or returning home after leaving the Lake of the Ozarks are asked to use Highway 50 or Highway 36 as alternate routes.
