New information to be handed to prosecutor in February shooting

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has new information relating to a February shooting just east of Columbia.

Three people were shot on February 28 on Santa Anna Drive.

The suspect, Cornelius “C.J.” Parker, was killed after exchanging gunshots with a Boone Co. sheriff’s deputy.

Deborah Koontz and her brother, Donald Wilson, were pronounced dead at the scene, and 44-year-old Willie Mays was hospitalized with a wound to the head.

All of the victims and the suspect lived at the home on Santa Anna.

Highway Patrol received the medical examiner’s report this week, and will forward the file onto the Boone County prosecutor by the end of next week.
