Soggy morning commute Wednesday

Rain will move into Mid-Missouri early in the morning Wednesday, giving us a soggy morning commute. Rain will start off light but become moderate and steady from 8-11 AM as it spreads east. Temperatures will start off near 50 in the morning and will stay chilly all day with high temperatures only in the mid 50s. The rain will become lighter and turn to showers at lunchtime.

Early afternoon showers will taper off from west to east, giving us a dry evening commute. Overall rainfall amounts of .30- to .70″ are expected with higher amounts of an inch possible along and south of I-70.
