Housing Authority cracking down on teenage population

The Columbia Housing Authority is cracking down on its teenage population.

At Tuesday night’s meeting, the Board of Commissioners will be looking into a monthly safety report, which shows an increase in teen residents being involved in repeated incidents.

Now, those teens are being issued trespassing warnings for all CHA properties except the building they live in.

This isn’t the first time this year CHA authorities have tried cracking down on residents. Earlier this year, some residents at Paquin Tower felt there was a drug problem.
