Railroad work closes Cooper Co. road

A Mid-Missouri road is closed for railroad work Tuesday.

Construction just started off Highway 41 outside Boonville by the Lamine River.

The work was originally delayed by rain.

Detours are in place, and the route is expected to re-open for traffic by Wednesday morning.

Crews are rebuilding some pavement around the railroad. A similar project was also completed last week in Cooper Co. along Route K in Blackwater.
