Road work to close one lane of I-70 in Cooper Co.

Drivers expecting to travel on I-70 this week should be aware of road work in Cooper County.

Starting Monday night, one lane of I-70 between Route 87 and the Missouri River bridge in Cooper Co. will close.

The work will start at 6:00 p.m. and last through 6:00 a.m., and will be completed each Monday through Thursday until next month.

The repairs will help crews prepare for resurfacing, which will start in July.
