Man in court for 2013 Randolph Co. murder

A suspect in a Randolph County murder appeared in Boone County court Monday afternoon.

Christopher Lewis and Jeffery Nichols are both charged in the killing of an elderly woman in 2013.

Both admitted to robbing the woman and leaving her for dead.

The prosecutor is seeking the death penalty.

Lewis had a hearing in Boone County, where the case has been moved.
