Cold and frosty early Thursday morning

High pressure will move over Mid-Missouri Wednesday night giving us mostly clear skies and nearly calm winds by morning. This will allow temperatures to fall into the low to mid 30s by early Thursday morning. Most areas will drop into the mid 30s but lows of 32 degrees are possible in valleys north of I-70 overnight as winds become nearly calm.

Frost is expected to form from 4 to 8 AM Thursday and sensitive plants may be damaged if they are not protected. Bring potted plants indoors and cover sensitive plants which can’t be brought inside.
