Mid-Missouri man sentenced for touching woman’s foot
A man landed in jail after breaking into a Fulton home and touching a woman’s foot while she was sleeping.
Getnet Bante was just sentenced last week after a jury convicted him of burglary and third-degree assault.
Fulton police say he broke into a home on Sixth Street while the victim was asleep in March of last year.
She woke up and chased him away before calling authorities.
A judge says Bante has to serve 15 days before he is considered for early release.
