Severe storms possible Tuesday night

A line of storms are developing ahead of a cold front and will track to the east into portions of Mid-Missouri Tuesday night. There is a Severe Storm Watch until 2 a.m. for Benton, Cooper, Morgan, Saline and Pettis counties. The storms could contain scattered large hail over 1 inch in diameter and isolated hail up to 3 inches in diameter. Also, isolated damaging winds up to 70 mph and isolated tornadoes are possible.
