Manhunt for armed suspect ends in Cole County
Monday evening Cole County deputies and Jefferson City Police were searching for a man after he allegedly held a gun to a woman’s head.
Authorities were searching near Centertown when the suspect passed deputies at a MoDOT shed and a chase ensued.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident near the intersection of Lookout Trail and Route U.
Our cameras were there as police made the arrest.
Sources say Curtis Matheney was the suspect who was taken into custody.
