Mid-Missouri man pleads guilty in Morgan Co. double murder

A Mid-Missouri man charged in a Morgan Co. double murder has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Friday morning Ronald Blower plead to two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and one county of burglary in the 2012 crime.

In Friday’s hearing, Blowers admitted to killing Mable and Wayne Wells in Ivy Bend on December 3rd, 2012. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s probable cause statement quotes Blowers admitting to using a pipe, knife, and screwdriver to kill the couple.

The Missouri Department of Corrections says Blowers was paroled from prison November 21st, 2012, just before the murders happened.

His sentencing is set for May 5th.
