Murder charges in fatal Callway Co. drunk driving crash

A woman is facing multiple charges including murder for a fatal 2014 drunk driving crash in Callaway County.

53-year-old Lori Conner was charged with second-degree assault and 2nd degree murder late Wednesday for the crash that happened last August.

Callaway County deputies say Conner was driving the wrong way on Route C, about 3 miles south of Route O. That’s when she hit 27-year-old Justin Mcdonald’s car head on.

Mcdonald, the driver, was seriously injured but survived. His passenger, 27-year-old Chad Fleischmann, died on the scene.
