Spring temperature outlook

The most recent temperature outlook from the Climate Prediction Center was issued March 19th and shows the outlook through spring. The west coast will likely see a warmer than average spring, while Texas could see a cooler than average spring.

The Midwest is under an area of equal chance, meaning that we have an equal chance of seeing temperatures below or above average. The current 2 week outlook is showing slightly below average temperatures through the first week of April.This could translate to a more mild spring here in Mid-Missouri, although temperature variations are common for us during spring.
