COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police say a woman reported being robbed by three armed assailants Monday evening in a parking lot.

Officers were called at about 7 p.m. to the 1200 block of Again Street near Again Street Park and West Boulevard Elementary School, the Columbia Police Department said in a news release. A woman told police that a vehicle approached her while she was in a parking lot and three people got out.

The woman told police that her attackers were a heavy-set man wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans holding a handgun, a woman in her early 30s with braids carrying a stick and a woman about 70 years old with a metal pole, according to the news release.

The robbers demanded money from the woman and they left in a white SUV with some cash, police said. No one was injured.
