Contracts awarded for work on Boone Co. bridges
MoDOT has approved contracts to repair one and replace two bridges in Boone County.
Lehman construction was awarded a contract to replace the deck on the Rocky Fork bridge on Route E north of Columbia. That contract amounted to $595,992.
Don Schneiders Excavating was awarded a contract to replace the Route OO bridge over Hinkson Creek east of Hallsville and the Route UU bridge over Sugar Branch Creek west of Columbia.
The bid for those bridges was $952,020.
Work on the Route E bridge is scheduled to begin on March 16, while the other two projects will start in the 2015 construction season.
