Moniteau Co. prosecutor accused of crashing into restaurant asks for change of venue
A man accused of driving his truck into a Columbia restaurant in October appeared in Boone Co. court Monday.
Moniteau Co. Prosecutor Shayne Healea allegedly crashed his truck through a window at Addison’s on Cherry Street, injuring four people.
Court documents said Healea was under the influence of alcohol when the crash happened.
Healea’s attorney asked for a change of venue and is being reviewed by the judge.
Healea’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 23.
