One of Columbia’s most wanted criminals arrested

One of Columbia’s most wanted criminals has been arrested.

Antwine Jackson has been on CPD’s “Most Wanted” list since November.

Jackson has felony and misdemeanor warrants totaling a $135,000 cash only bond.

Police said it was a contact they had who called in to let them know Jackson was on Redwood Road.

Police could not tell ABC 17 News why Jackson was there, because it is not his registered home address.

Jackson, though, was wanted for several domestic assault charges.

Court documents detail Jackson’s criminal history starting back in 2012.

Police said Jackson was going to get marijuana from someone at Campus Apartments when a robbery took place.

As Jackson was leaving, two men with masks and guns threatened the residents, and took all of the pot and credit cards and fired a shot according to police.

Police said the second shot was fired outside at Jackson.

At the hospital, Jackson told police he did not know the masked men.

Almost a year later, Jackson was charged for threatening staff members at Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Court documents say Jackson’s threats implied he had a weapon.

Patients from the emergency room waiting area had to moved for their safety because Jackson’s threats.

Documents show five months later on Newton Street Jackson reportedly hit his girlfriend in the face, and two days later broke into her home.

Later that summer, Jackson’s own mother and sister were struck by him according to police. His mother says the charges are untrue.

In November, police said Jackson hit, grabbed, pushed, choked, and bit a woman.

In February, court documents said Jackson choked a woman and wouldn’t let her call 911.

When police got there, Jackson was gone.

Records ABC 17 News has show Jackson has been sent to the Boone County jail on four separate occasions, but has never spent time in prison.
