Firefighters battle two-alarm fire in Jefferson City
A two-alarm fire remains under investigation in Jefferson City. Just after 10:00 p.m. Sunday, crews were called out to Cohen Auto Sale on St. Louis Road.
Firefighters first on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the center of the building and heavy fire conditions. The fire spread from the center of the garage area into the front of the building.
No one was in the building at the time and no one was injured.
The cold weather brought challenges to firefighters with ice build up on the ground and building.
Jefferson City police are assisting the fire department with the investigation.
