Authorities looking into alleged threat at Howard County school

An investigation into possible threats at a Howard County school began last Sunday.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office and New Franklin Police are looking into possible threats involving a high school student in New Franklin, westt of Columbia.

Law enforcement and school officials are still working to get the facts, to make sure all the safety concerns are fully addressed.
