Two arrested at motel for selling synthetic drugs, prostitution

Two people were arrested Wednesday morning after the Boone County Sheriff’s Department searched a room at the Royal Inn at 1800 I-70 Drive Southwest.

Deputies learned synthetic drugs were being sold from the room prior to the search.

Deputies found synthetic drugs, packaging materials, and digital scales.

38-year-old Robert McTye was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance.

34-year-old Misty Guzman-Castro was issued a summons from prostitution.
