Eldon woman killed in car crash

A woman from Eldon died in a single-vehicle accident Monday evening. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tyla Lundh was driving on Highway 5 and tried to pass another vehicle on a curve near the Gravois Mills Access.

Lundh’s car went off the road, hit a fence and flipped. It then went partway into a nearby lake. Lundh, 19, was thrown from the car and ended up partly in the water as well. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
