Mizzou adds Cody Oates, offensive analyst

On Thursday, the Missouri football program announces the addition of Butler Community College offensive line coach Cody Oates as offensive analyst.

PowerMizzou’s Brian Austin first reported the hiring.

Oates was the offensive line coach at Butler CC for the past five seasons and played for the Grizzlies.

Oats is the o-line coach for Tyler Howell, a 6’9″, 302 pound offensive tackle Mizzou was recruiting.

Hours after the announcement of Oates joining the MU coaching staff, Howell committed to the University of Missouri football team.
