Blood drive held in honor of fallen Columbia officer

A blood drive is being held Friday afternoon to honor a Columbia Police officer killed in the line of duty.

Molly Bowden was a Columbia Police officer who was shot during a routine traffic stop near Forum and Nifong in 2005.

The annual blood drive in her honor got underway Friday afternoon and will go on until 6:00 p.m. at the Grace Bible Church on Blue Ridge.
