Columbia fire crews investigating morning house fire
The Columbia Fire Department is investigating a Friday morning house fire.
It happened in the 4100 block of Valleywood Court just after 9:00 a.m.
A neighbor called and said they saw smoke coming out of the roof.
Flames were shooting out the top of the garage and part of the garage roof collapsed.
No one was home at the time, and two pets were rescued.
The cause of the fire and amount of damage caused are unknown.
