Rock climber rescued after fall in Pinnacles Park
A hiker is recovering after falling more than 10 feet at the Pinnacles Park in Boone County Saturday morning.
The Boone County Fire Protection District said a woman in her twenties was hiking with friends when she fell off a ledge.
Rescue crews said her friend called 911 because she was unconscious. Crews said she came to when medics arrived at the scene.
The woman was taken to University Hospital by helicopter for treatment.
