Several victims report stolen property in Pettis Co.

Several people reported stolen property between Monday night and Tuesday morning in Pettis County.

The Pettis County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to ABC 17 News most of the thefts happened in the Smithton area.

Deputies said there were 7 separate reports of stolen property in this time frame, and they’re expecting more reports by the end of the day.

An ABC 17 News viewer contacted the station Tuesday morning after a relative had a Chevy truck and 4-wheeler stolen between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Other reports of missing property were similar, including 4-wheelers, trailers, lawn mowers, and tools.
