Man arrested for threatening woman with a gun

Jefferson City police say a home invasion suspect landed behind bars Wednesday, after he was accused of threatening to kill a woman for damaging his vehicle.

Keith Larry, 34, is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action, two counts of first-degree burglary and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Investigators searched his home in the 700 block of Jackson Street after receiving a 911 call around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday from a woman who claims a man broke in armed with a rifle.

The victim claims she ran to another apartment, but the man followed her and threatened to kill the other resident.

Once he was identified, police got a search warrant for his home after his wife refused to let them in. They allegedly found an SKS rife with 11 rounds of ammo, including one in the chamber.
