School cancels trip after choir director goes on leave

A Columbia student trip to Ireland was canceled by Hickman High School after its choir director went on leave.

ABC 17 previously reported 33-year-old Matthew Felts is charged with misdemeanor stalking.

The trip, scheduled through Trump Tours in Bentonville, Arkansas, wasn’t a school sponsored excursion.

Columbia Public Schools spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark told ABC 17 News the school is talking to Trump Tours about getting the money back for the trip for the students.
