Cars broken into in south Columbia

Columbia Police are investigating multiple cars broken into on the south side of town.

Police said five cars were broken into and damaged Sunday night.

Officers urge people in the area to keep lights on around your home and make sure your car is parked close to the front of a home.

We know at least one of the break-ins happened in the Cascades.
