Snow Wednesday night through Thursday morning

A weak storm system will spread snow across Mid-Missouri Wednesday night through Thursday morning. It will start as light rain at the Lake of the Ozarks in the early evening Wednesday and transition to snow as it moves north to near I-70 by 11 PM. Light snow will continue to fall into the early morning hours Thursday before tapering off and ending by early afternoon. Some drizzle is possible Thursday afternoon as the snow ends.

Slick roads are possible for the Thursday morning commute as light snow comes down with temperatures just below freezing. Most of Mid-Missouri will get an inch to two inches of snow from this system with slightly lower amounts in northeastern Missouri.
