Fulton police investigate armed robbery at Family Dollar

Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, Fulton police confirmed to ABC 17 News that someone robbed the Family Dollar on East Third Street.

Police said they were called out to the scene just after 7:30 Sunday night for an armed robbery.

A store clerk told Fulton police officers a suspect came in with a gun and demanded money. The person got away with an undisclosed amount.

The Fulton Police Department suspects a black male, around six feet tall with long dreads and a scar under his eye robbed the store, based on a description given by the attendant.

Police are still investigating.
