Man charged with BWI in fatal Osage Co. boating accident

A man has been charged in a fatal Osage County boating accident that happened on the Gasconade River this past summer.

Osage County Prosecutor Amanda Grellner charged Daniel Berhorst with misdemeanor boating while intoxicated.

Berhorst crashed head-on with another boat, killing two people in July.

Prosecutors told ABC 17 there will be no manslaughter or assault charges due to the limited visibility in that location and the wishes of the family.

25-year-old Corrie Talken was killed in the crash, along with 48-year-old Larry Hennier.

Berhorst is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on February 3.
