Ferguson prepares for grand jury decision
Many people ABC 17 News talked to Thursday in Ferguson said they’ve been waiting for the grand jury to reach their decision.
During the day, Ferguson appears to be peaceful, despite the boarded up windows and doors that some businesses have, as directed by their insurance agents.
Things are quiet while there’s daylight, but at night that’s not always the case.
ABC 17 talked to St. Louis County Police about their job protecting the Ferguson Police and residents that live there.
“We have to protect the citizens, we have no problem with that,” said Sgt. Brian Shellman.
They said ever since August, their jobs have consisted more of keeping the community peaceful, whether there are protestors or not.
